Steve suggests a PCA of some kind of the fire variables for the CBI plot locations versus FRAP remote samples.

Fire variables could include all the variables in the model: severity, heterogeneity, prefire NDVI, prefire neighborhood mean NDVI, potential annual heat load, topographic roughness.
