For those that may read this, I'm going add some more info: AMD and Mediatek have an agreement where AMD rebrands Mediatek WiFi chipsets. This will likely greatly increase the availability of Mediatek chipset based products for users. The rebranded chipsets work fine with the existing Mediatek in-kernel drivers. mt7922 = rz616 The mt7922 chipset is basically the mt7921 chipset but with 160 MHz channel width capability. Yes, we are talking about WiFi speeds exceeding 1 Gbps. |

I got the impression Windows users don't like the AMD/Mediatek stuff so I don't feel confident the agreement will continue unless the Windows drivers improve. |

They're limited to preorders of the AMD mainboard, but should be available as a stand alone item soon. Depending on where you live shipping charges can be kind of crazy, though. But if you're looking for 6E capable m.2 2230 form factor, this might be a reasonable cost way to get it.

They also sell AX210 and AX211 for $18, but those can be found elsewhere for that or less as well.
