This is the offending document:
http://www.partnerplast.com/images/seismikk/2844_PPMSG_Seismic_REV_012014_PREVEIW.pdf
Scroll to what pdf.js calls page 10 to reproduce (the page itself says 19)

Evince and Chrome renders it normally. PDF.js slowly renders each element while making it a multi-second affair to either scroll the document or otherwise interact with the browser or pdf.js.

i tried it with latest version and is ok, the big images at the end take some while but the profiles do not point out anything significant.

Closing as fixed by #5524. It is fast enough now (renders in under one second, even though the image is very large).
