Currently mulle-sde dependency can parse URLs and replace their branch content with ${FOO_BRANCH:-1.1.1}. It seems obvious that it would be nice to

  • put 1.1.1 into the branch field of the node
  • replace FOO_BRANCH with the branch field of the node

Maybe like so: ${FOO_BRANCH:-${__MULLE_BRANCH__:-1.1.1}} ?

Or just ${__MULLE_BRANCH__}, but that would lose the possibility of unified version numbers.
On the other hand the URLs unique nicer...

So many options.
