As a maintainer of NGF
I want to collect a cluster identifier from all participating NGF installations
So that I can accurately measure how many active installations of NGF exist

Acceptance

  • The cluster identifier does not contain any characters or information that can reveal the identity of the installer.
  • The cluster identifier is highly likely to be unique across all Kubernetes clusters.
  • A fallback cluster id is collected instead when NGF is unable to acquire the primary cluster id.
