Set up a Basic NGINX Web Server
Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. Navigate to the correct directory:
cd tasks/nginx/easy
Then open the
nginx.conf
file and start implementing your solution!Description
In this issue, your task is to set up a basic NGINX web server on your local machine using the
nginx.conf
file.The configuration should set up a simple web server that listens on port 8080 and serves
index.html
file from the/tasks/nginx/easy/
directory.How to run
Run the following command in your Terminal to start NGINX with your custom configuration:

Open a web browser and go to http://localhost:8080. You should see the "Hello, NGINX!" on the screen served from the
index.html
file.If everything looks to work as expected, you are ready to make a pull request by committing the
nginx.conf
file.Remember to also shut down the server after you are done:
