Flashing imx8mplus image directly to eMMC

Greetings,

Is it possible to, after uploading the image via uboot tftp to the board, to flash it to the eMMC directly, instead of using the SD card?

As it's stated in https://github.com/nxp-imx/imx_openwrt/blob/imx-openwrt-23.05/target/linux/imx/README, the image is supposed to be flashed to the SD card, but I need to find a way to flash it to eMMC.
