How to reproduce the issue?

When creating a point using wireframe mode and switching to partial fill without placing the point on the map, the icon is shown in both wireframe and partial fill mode.

  1. Copy a point on the map with tags already selected (ex. street lamp)
  2. Paste the point in wireframe mode without placing it on the map.
  3. Change to wireframe mode
  4. The point should now show the icon in both wireframe mode and partial fill mode.

I am using LibreWolf version 130.0-1. LibreWolf is a Firefox fork with privacy-oriented changes.

Screenshot(s) or anything else?

I can confirm this rendering issue:

  1. start in wireframe mode
  2. copy - paste without placing (clicking)
  3. press W (still not pasted) to change to the regular mode
  4. now the icon that is attached to the mouse has two icons
Image this shows the double icon, the cursor is right above it (but not captured by the screenshot)

It does not happen the other way around, starting in regular mode and then switching to wireframe mode mid flight.

Tested in Chrome.

It looks like a purely cosmetic issue that does not have any effect on the data and is only visible for a short while until the item is placed on the map.
