In the instrumentingPage, you can read

Endpoint Annotations and binary annotations have an endpoint associated with them. With two exceptions, this endpoint is associated with the traced process.

Notes

What exceptions are referred here?
I have checked the PR which added it, but the description do NOT bring light
comparing with previous paragraph introductions, I miss a breaking line. Something like
