Statistics framework (introduced in cset fba19e5) contains metrics for the webapp, this issue is about adding indexer metrics as well. The indexer would have to perform the measurements by itself and then send them to the webapp at the end of the indexing.

Last week I attended a meetup where I presented/demo'ed OpenGrok and one of the suggestions was to provide comprehensive indexer statistics, specifically to provide a summary of number processed (added/deleted/changed) elements such as files, Lines Of Code etc.

The new way of tracking statistics is tracked by #3245. Will keep this open for the above mentioned meters.
