I have an idea to start a project demonstrating integrations with the most commonly used payment gateways.

We know there are strong resources available for payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal. However, resources for gateways in Sri Lanka are harder to find.

Some commonly used Sri Lankan payment gateways include:

• PayHere
• DirectPay
• iPay
• WEBXPAY

Challenges:

• Setting up a sandbox environment often requires a merchant account.
• Lack of comprehensive developer documentation for local gateways.
• Limited community support and real-world integration examples.
