we use tags in public cloud implementations, to easily detect artifacts created by CS. Rearding the suggested tool, we dont have this on our roadmpa at the moment, but can add it if this idea will turn to be very popular Ariel Benary (Ariel.B) - 05/29/2017 11:30 AM

The Apps Deployment results in resources created in vCenter and CloudShell. If something goes wrong, we could have orphaned resources in either or both environments. We need an audit tool to compare and report issues. We've had this same problem. Something that runs scheduled say 1/2 times a week and emails dist list of issues where there is a mismatch/orphaned resource. We end up with orphaned VMs when setup or teardown fails. And the problems is worse thant just having a resource. The VMs can be left powered on and on a network and can hence interfere with the next user to get that VLAN.
