Testing WPF app - winappdriver?

Hi, wondered if anyone had suggestions for using reqnroll to test a windows WPF app. It looks as though Microsoft created WinAppDriver but that project looks pretty-well dead, and looking at comments doesn't run on newer versions of dotnet. Reqnroll works well for me for other automated tests, so was hoping to use something with it for WPF. Has anyone had any luck with this?

@MalcolmPerfect Not an answer, just a comment: If you have success, it would be great to make a sample application for this (similar to https://github.com/reqnroll/Sample-ReqOverflow/), because this would be interesting for many people, I think.

Thanks @gasparnagy - it does seem that FlaUI has just had an update, but I'm yet to try it out.

Any UI automation techniques for .NET can be applied through Reqnroll.

System.Windows.Automation is the solution Microsoft provides, based on the underlying automation platform baked into Windows for accessibility purposes. With it, you can hook into a compatible application and examine UI elements and generate input events.
