Hey,
I'm not sure how the algorithm works for selecting the most frequent songs per month, year, etc, but it seems to me that the app only selects songs that the user selects by clicking. From what I've observed, there aren't always songs that are randomly queued when random shuffle in playlist is selected. Therefore, songs that the user listens to for a longer period of time, more than 65% of the length of the song, should also be considered, for example...
