TIdal connect is a Cool idea, that's right, but it struggles to spread to devices with decent operation at an affordable price. Those objects of desire out there are very few and are often weighed down by other software that make the whole experience rather frustrating and unnatural.
There is an idea based on Tidal Connect that could give a boost to the spread of Tidal among those who listen to music on a hifi system, and who would love to do so possibly while sitting on the couch, wireless managing their listening.
Tidal connect between two Tidal apps!
Let me explain: normally I connect my mac to my dac with a cable. Tidal app sends a bitperfect signal to my dac and the music plays. At this point it would be relatively easy, and very effective, to open the Tidal app on my smarphone from my couch and control the Mac's Tidal app.
One would function as slave, the other as master.
Tidal's limits that only one device plays online at a time would be respected.
And many users could use their hardware to make Tidal express its full potential, conveniently, without buying overpriced modified raspberry P boards boxed in thousands dollars metal boxes not really working.
All in Tidal, no other softwares, cross platform.
Wouldn't that be wonderful and easy?
