[Refactor] Improve test organization

Some points to consider:

• Create module-specific fixture files and reorganize the current conftests.py.
• Review noise fixtures and tests.

Notes: Follow the repo folder structure. We will try to have exhaustive unit testing in the backends - and another repo for cross backend integration testing.
