Disable autosave or change autosave settings?

Sometimes autosave is a little too aggressive, especially when previewing a chart shared by someone else. How difficult would it be to add an option to disable autosave (either site wide or per user)? Also how difficult would it be to add a way to change the autosave delay?

disabling/enabling autosave feature should be available in the admin settings, right at the bottom of additional settings
