Tools for Wacom not restored properly #34
Comments
@chchwy has this been looked at yet? I don't have a wacom tablet with pen flip, so I can't test it. |
Unfortunately I don't have a wacom pen with eraser either atm :/ |
@candyface @chchwy I have a Wacom Intuos Pro 5 tablet. My experience has improved over the last two years while using Pencil2D particularly since 2016 Last quarter. I can use the eraser and the Pen functionalities normally on Windows. But I can't test this right now on Linux. I have an older laptop with Linux Mint. I could attempt to run it there. I'll try to do it over the weekend since I'd have to install the drivers and test the builds over there. I'll let you know what happens. |
Just tested this to see if it was fixed, here's what happened: |
As tested with latest code from Mercurial default branch, tools are not properly restored on Linux (Ubuntu 13.04, 32bit).
Steps to reproduce:
At this point the expected behaviour is for Pencil2D to automatically switch to the Brush tool. And it does show that the Brush tool is selected again. But instead it draws with the Pencil tool. That is: on the toolbar you see that Brush is used. But on the canvas you get the Pencil pointer and Pencil behavior.
