Safari: Solitary link in document very hard to edit

This one takes some setup:

1. Create a new annotation in DM2
2. In that new annotation window, type the word "Link" and nothing else
3. Highlight that word and create an external hyperlink to it (such as to http://www.microsoft.com).
4. Check the document in and then check it back out.

At this point, you cannot insert the cursor any longer. In fact, you no longer get the text cursor. Clicking the word activates the hyperlink. This means that you effectively cannot edit the document unless you drag-highlight the word and delete it.
