The Pretzel web application is able to connect to multiple servers (also referred to as multiple back-ends), in addition to the server which the user has initially logged in to. This enables combining in a single view datasets from multiple institutions, which are then able to retain full control of their datasets and manage access to them. The user is required to login to each server, and is able to view datasets which they would have viewed if they had logged into that server directly.
Issue reported.
