Feature request: Only provide a view with comments removed

I understand this extension removes the comments from a file. Can there be a configurable option for this to rather produce a view or an o/p file optionally with comments removed rather than the original file modified.

Eg in Visual Studio:

I am extremely sorry for not getting back to you. The issue somehow missed my attention and I regret that.

I have a very busy schedule over next few months (up until May) and I would not be able to give time to any of my open source projects. Due to this, it would be great if you could wait until then, I thank you for your patience 😄.

Regarding the feature request, I think it's very much doable and easily implement able. Once I can afford to give time to maintain my open source projects again, I will surely prioritize this. Thanks once again :)
