My Nest thermostat is hitting API rate limits, and I suspect it's due to the system attempting to adjust the temperature in 0.1°C increments between its current setting and the desired temperature.
Since my device only supports adjustments in 0.5°C increments, could you add an option to configure the thermostat to use 0.5°C steps?
Additionally, I noticed someone else encountered the same error, and they mentioned resolving it by adding a 5-second delay between requests. Would it be possible to implement a native delay option, as I’m unsure how to add a delay manually?
Thanks for your help!
