These specifications discuss and outline functionality common to the Privly ecosystem. They are open for comment and modification.
- Encryption API: What cryptographic operations the library is guaranteed to support.
- URL Specification: What URL functionality the extensions will recognize before injecting the referenced content.
- Posting Applications: Generating new links directly from the extensions
- Communication Channel: The communication channel between the host page and the injected applications.
- iframe resizing: How iframes are resized within the host page
- Identity System: How web servers will know who you are for authorizing content.
- Link Operation Modes: What happens to links when they are encountered by the extensions.
- Whitelisting: User controls for determining who they trust.
- Group Encryption: More secure sharing concepts.
- Peer-to-Peer: Making the system difficult to shutdown.
