Cannot Save Projects or Files

Hello,
I tried the editor, and it's fantastic.
The problem is it won't let me save projects or files.
As I click on "Save As" or press "Ctrl+Maiusc+S" or "Ctrl+S", the editor will open the file browser, ask me where to save, to the close the window after I selcted a directory (so far so good).
After that, if I ever try to save a file, it opens the "Save As" screen again and, when I use the file browser to reach the folder, the folder isn't there at all. Is there any way to fix this?
