What maintenance needs to be done?

Remove Engineering Ranking feature.

Level of urgency

  • High
  • Moderate
  • Low

Why is this maintenance needed?

  • This feature will no longer work once we move to the new json query dsl (see ticket describing the issue). Since it is not in production, and was just a proof of concept, the team has determined it makes more sense to remove it than to try to get it to work with the new json query dsl.

Acceptance criteria

  • The feature flipper is removed
  • Related code is removed
  • Tests are removed, and remaining tests stay green

Implementation notes, if any

  • May also need to remove Solr configuration
