It could be worth including a workflow for type checking with mypy, as it happens in qibosoc https://github.com/qiboteam/qibosoq/blob/main/.github/workflows/mypy.yml.
Probably, adding it to https://github.com/qiboteam/workflows would be the best, and then inheriting it here.
