Quota plugin

Before i install quota addon, does anyone know if the user logs in through basic login and downloads that way would it still count as part of their quota or is or is it counted just in normal mode?

quota with download-quota plugin is applied to accounts.
anonymous downloads are not counted.
you are supposed to prevent anonymous downloads, to be effective.
