Problem description

Currently, using facets to filter a search on mobile is not practical at all. The facets are displayed at the bottom below the results. In public view, many people use mobile to search documents and thus a very important feature (facets) is practically inaccessible.

Missing feature

In the public view /search/documents, there should be a component to easily show and select facets on mobile.

  • In mobile, hide facets by default but add a button with a filter icon (prime-ng: pi-filter-fill) that opens a kind of modal containing all facets
  • I can select facets and easily come back to my search results
    • Solution 1: the search results are still behind the modal and i can just click out to come back

    • Solution 2: the modal takes all the screen and there is a button to confirm

  • If space is missing at the top, the button for "number of results per page" can be moved to the bottom
