should be implemented via plug-in and now that we have Python plugins support it should be easy to create

python-idb now supports IDA Pro 5.x-7.5 formats support and all basic metainformation. Thus, it should be possible to make a good import plugin without much pain. This library well covered by tests and supports both Python 2.7 and Python 3.x

See some basic script using python-idb library to import some basic data from IDB: https://github.com/rizinorg/rizin-extras/blob/master/rz-ida/rz-ida.py
