Discussion around dev dependencies will continue on #46. The cargo team would like an answer on whether crates.io is willing to accept arbitrary path/git dependencies for dev-dependencies, and if not what restrictions we are willing to loosen. Ideally most of the discussion will happen in that issue, and we'd like to have consensus for the cargo team by the next crates.io team meeting.

A summary of the discussion on squashing was posted in #47.

Progress is being made on privacy and other policies. We should have a privacy policy soon, and a more specific DMCA policy and terms of use less soon.
