This came up again today for the api-client in kubernikusctl. Here it would be great for interoperability that e.g. cluster create/update would use the same data structure.

Need to investigate whether we maybe even already have that functionality in the client-gen generators.

Won't fix. Decision was to exactly the other way around. We now generate everything from Swagger and live with the pain.
