This works with compass:

filter: alpha(opacity= $value * 100 );

But fails with libsass, at least when used with grunt-sass -> node-sass -> libsass. I guess its not exactly a new issue, though not quite the same as, for example, #152.

This seems to work as a workaround:

$percentage: $value * 100;
filter: alpha(opacity=$percentage);
