Fixing misaligned images.

There are some examples that have misaligned background images(open beam images).

We need to make a helper function (or a widget) that can align those images.

Each image has visible pattern (due to the scintillator) that can be used for alignment.

In the real experiments at ESS, there should be more easily distinguishable markers or systems for the alignment.

Here is a short explanation of the dataset.

Dataset Pairs

• Discharging battery
  The sample data has good quality but not the open beam. Due to the lack of statistics of OB_00004__00001, we would like to use OB_BIG1_sum_68img but they are not aligned well.

  • Data for Sun/Big 3 discharged.tif
  • OB_00004__00001 (no extension)

• Discharging battery 2
  Both have good statistics and well aligned but not with other pairs.
