after clean clone
and
running meteor
I'm getting a white page and this error message:
"It looks like you are trying to access MongoDB over HTTP on the native driver port."

for me, mongo settings were changed in bash and not reflected in the zsh. i uninstalled zsh and meteor is back in business. this is a dirty fix but maybe it's worth looking into.

I had the same problem when I use http proxy to access MongoDB.
I solved the problem by using https proxy instead.
