The default configuration opens a port on all interfaces and exposes an obvious remote code execution (addversion) on that port.

I am not a user of scrapyd but noticed this issue as I just saw it in the wild. From what I can see the documentation also contains no warning whatsoever about this.

#43 is probably related to this

Perhaps it would be sensible to change the default listen address to 127.0.0.1
and note it in the changelog
