It's not possible to go to annoted method, while it works for pure cucumber project.

It occurs on "master" branch, while "screenplay" branch works OK - it's possible find declaration to go to.

This is an IDE issue - make sure you are using the latest version of IntelliJ as the support for Cucumber expressions is relatively recent.
