I have:

Bug description

The "new messages" divider ignores the read state from the desktop app.

Steps to reproduce

  • have a conversation on Signal Android
  • continue the conversation on Signal Desktop
  • return to Signal Android, where (correctly) no notification for a new message is shown

Actual result: The "new messages" divider is shown between the last message on Signal Android and first message on Signal Desktop
Expected result: The "new messages" divider shouldn't be shown

Device info

Device: LG Nexus 5X
Android version: 7.1.1
Signal version: 3.30.0

@moxie0 It's fixed for incoming messages, but is still present if the last message on desktop was outgoing.
