Any plans to implement this? Would be a very useful feature. |
One of the feature requests in: #4676 |
This feature is supported on the Android app. Why is it not in the desktop one? |
Since this isn't a bug and this issue tracker is for bugs, continue discussion for the feature request for iOS and Windows Desktop in https://community.signalusers.org/t/scheduled-send-of-messages/2568 To answer your question dadinn: presumably limitations of time and resources. I agree it would make sense to roll out a feature for all platforms or have plan to target all platforms eventually. |
Feature Request
I haven't seen any existing issues mentioning this, please feel free to close if it has already been addressed. An extremely useful feature in other texting apps is to schedule a message to be sent at a given time. The easiest place to add this would be the + button when you start typing a message and viewing your scheduled messages via the options dropdown in the top right.
