I didn't build this with Carbon in mind, but it looks like you can pass any \DateTime instance returned from this library to Carbon::instance($dt) to make a Carbon object.

Hello,
I just learned about a compatibility issue with Carbon (using a Carbon instance as the start date on a Rule).

This is on the Carbon side, as it seems a bug to me.
