Add M1 Silicon support build #13
Comments
I tried to build it myself a few days ago. Dev/Debug build is working fine, just spent some time fixing issues in project metadata, pulling Git modules to a fresher version, most of them didn't build with recent Xcode. But I still have no success creating release build. |
Can you share the branch and I can try and play with it as well? |
any news on this ? |
have you managed to get it working or did you abandon the project? |
I managed to get it working, maybe you could try my build here |
nice man,do you plan on making a fork or sth ? or is it a standalone release for you thanks ! |
@agungrbudiman Great job! Works pretty good! 👍 |
where will we be able to find said build ? I hope you'll be able to do it ,what an amazing idea and improvement it will be !!! thank you |
@agungrbudiman I am not a swift dev as well, but maybe it's possible for me to support you in that said development of a share extension. If you need some help, just let me know! |
@yurikoles can you provide a build with working notifications? |
This is working for me, although I had to sign in the keychain a bunch of times. Also, I'm not sure if this is specific to your build, if you open the menu before the keychain login shows up you can't use either and the only way I found to regain control of my keyboard was to open Activity Monitor and quit Sudoto. To get around this problem open the app and wait for the keychain login dialogs to finish before opening the menu. |
Just giving this a push. It'd be awesome if an official Apple Silicon build existed and it had notifications and a share menu. Unfortunately, I'm not a swift dev either so I can't contribute. |
@IridiumWasTaken I don't know if we'll see an official Apple Silicon version of Soduto as it seems that the development for this project has stopped. You could try out unofficial forks of this project. @agungrbudiman managed to get it working and make an M1 build, so you could have a look at the releases page of his fork of his fork. And about the share extension, I tried to implement it and it's kinda buggy and not perfect. You can check out the nightly branch of my Soduto fork or directly download the nightly version of Soduto from the releases page for the share extension. |
this is so sad . kde connect doesnt have m1 support either it seems nobody really cares about android+mac anymore....iphone supremacy |
I'd be interested too to have a signed Apple Silicon version, too - but anyways, I'm happy that someone already worked a bit on this. |
Hey,
Would be great if there could be an m1 build of Soduto. I have an m1 mac and could help building it as needed.
