Basically, we need to do more or less exactly the same thing for MetaLib as for 101:

101companies/101rails#197

In summary (as a checklist):

  • Add LICENSE file to metalib repo with enough information about CC Attribution 4.0
  • Make license/copyright information appear at the bottom of each page.
  • I guess we link to the license file to have people discover more information about CC A 4.0.

Is this done?

i talked to @rlaemmel and we agreed that we use MIT License for code as CC A 4.0 does not cover things like linking and binary artifacts. For 101wiki we went with MIT for code and CC A 4.0 for the wiki content. Should we do it the same?

We could possibly apply MIT also to the models of metalib because it is highly structured "code".
What do you guys think?

i think it would be a good idea.
