I'm wondering is anybody using successfully the "new" 1012 jar-file Abel posted 3 months ago? I'm still using the old one since I can't establish a connection with the new one.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
-1 502 Couldn't connect to TWS. Confirm that "Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients" is enabled and connection port is the same as "Socket Port" on the TWS "Edit->Global Configuration...->API->Settings" menu. Live Trading ports: TWS: 7496; IB Gateway: 4001. Simulated Trading ports for new installations of version 954.1 or newer: TWS: 7497; IB Gateway: 4002
And when downloading historical data with the old one:
2174 Warning: You submitted request with date-time attributes without explicit time zone. Please switch to use yyyymmdd-hh:mm:ss in UTC or use instrument time zone, like US/Eastern. Implied time zone functionality will be removed in the next API release
...and:
10285 Your API version does not support fractional size rules. Please upgrade to a minimum version 163.
@softwarespartan I'm becoming concerned that we're an TWS/API release away from the old file not offering previous functionality, and being unable to connect with the new file.
