Issue RCAL-609 was created on JIRA by Brett Morris:

RCAL-573 investigated PSF fitting for accurate astrometry, now implement the "optimal" solutions according to the investigation summary from the previous ticket.

Add narrative docs for PSF fitting methods either in Source Detection, or link to them there.
