Check options for creating uuid

We currently use the library "uuid" as dependency for creating uuids.
It would, however, be preferable to have a dependency that is already used by npm / yarn or no dependency at all.
Check which tools are used in npm / yarn for creation of uuids and consider how we could replace the currently used library.
