Hi, Allan here, originally from South Africa, currently resident in Ireland.

There is a lot of world movement around NodeJS, and passport.js has become the de facto authentication platform of choice.

Unfortunately, there are massive security holes in the original passport codebase, and getting hold of the original author has not been successful.

This is my attempt to build a truly open community around passportjs and maintain it moving forward, with the hopes that it will continue to stay the de facto standard in NodeJS Authentication.

Just started this project today, so it's just me at the minute, but hope to be able to build a strong core team pretty soon and pretty fast.
