Open Path often not working

Hi all,

when I use 'open path' it often times does not work and instead of the path, it just opens a file explorer window that shows the Desktop.

Conversely, if I select "Show in Everything" and then do "open path" from there, the correct path opens. Any ideas what is going in?

Is there a way to re-index Everything and/or EverythingToolbar?

Any help is appreciated. Great tool overall, I am telling everyone about it!

Edit: I noticed that the file path + file name is 276 chars long. Could that be the reason?

No such problem here.
I suggest running the actual Alpha 1.5 version, its stable and much better than the 1.4.
The Toolbar has no own index, of course.
Use the Everything GUI for re-indexing.

Indeed this is the problem. I implemented a fix to support long file names when opening the path of a file in 0a86745.
