RDP Wrap not working on windows 10 build 10.0.17763.437 (1809) & 10.0.17134.706 (1803) #763
Comments
I hope for fix either. Build 10.0.17134.706 |
This issue has been addressed in several posts already. The official version has not been updated but there are patches and procedures that will update the .ini file to work with both these versions. Read the prior posts to find solution. RDPWrap is a volunteer project and the primary author has not updated the official version. The community has developed patches that have to be manually installed. |
Although the issue is being discuses in six different tickets, it is far from being "addressed" at this time. While we all understand that RDPWrap is a volunteer project, there is no valid solution at this time and everyone would appreciate the effort of getting this fixed. |
Can you try with this ini file (Unpack ini, overwrite rdpwrite.ini file in Program Files\RDP Wrapper, run rdpwinst.exe -r as admin) Work for me on 10.0.17763.437 (x86) and 10.0.17134.706 (x86 and x64). |
Thanks a lot, Your solution solved my problem only catch that I have used another rdpwrap.ini here I am attaching my working INI file, hope this will be helpful for others. |
Your ini have duplicated section for [10.0.17763.437] . Thank you for some sections that I don't have. |
I have tried rdpwrap_working_version.zip and it is definitely an improvement. It allows me to open a second RDP session which is great but the session is always a new one instead of opening the previously disconnected session. |
@roymanoj 's file worked for me. Be sure to not leave any ".bak" or other junk behind in C:\Program Files\RDP Wrapper (seemed to prevent TermService from starting). I also ran |
Alright, long story short, was trying to make it so there could only be a single user session ever, so disconnecting would resume the same session in addition to connecting would kick someone off if they were signed in (this account is only used by me, so this is ideal to resume my work). I tried both above files, the first caused issues with termservice not wanting to start, but the second started perfect. However, it had the same issue as the other examples I'd found so far. I know this is a bit of an edge case for many users, but if that's something you need, please find it attached! |
rdpwrap_corrected_single_10.0.17763.437.zip doesn't work for me. Allows multiple sessions but, as before, the session is always a new one instead of opening the previously disconnected session. |
@andrew521 just confirming, your Windows version is |
Just to confirm that it is working now. The new ini file clears "single session per user" option so it just needs to be set. |
After overwriting rdpwrite.ini file from ZeljkoManjkas it's still "Not listening", but "Not Supported" is fixed. |
Confirmo funcionamiento hoy 16/05/2019 con este ini, en la versión 1809 17763.503 |
friend how can I do? thanks a lot!{
} |
I had the same problem on Win10 x64 with 10.0.17763.437 version of termsrv.dll. Your ini-file works fine for me. Thanks a lot! |
This one is a good base for 10.0.17763.437 (x86), but it has one subtle and one more serious error. Section [10.0.17763.437-SLInit] lacks last entry, that should be: |
Worked for me too!
|
Funcionou perfeitamente |
any support for 17763.253 |
any support for 17763.829 |
GoodDay Every One. My RPD wrapped no listen support for 17763.771 Thank You! |
Wrapper version: 1.5.0.0 What exact modifications have to be made to the rdpwrap.ini to make this work? I'd like to contribute if I can .. I use this RDPWrapper every single day .. Any time an update knocks it down I usually know pretty quick. |
Pra mim também ! Thanks!! |
There are lots of posts about this version. You need an external, to the project, rdpwrap.ini file -- or more specifically a section that has the required INI section added. |
It works - THANK YOU!! |
This version works for me too. Just remember to run "RDPWInst -r" after updating your "C:/Program Files/RDP Wrapper/rdpwrap.ini" file. |
nothing works. win 10, ver.1909 |
If nothing is working, then your computer isn't turned on. Try that first. Otherwise, something is working, and you need to tell us what is and isn't. This is working fine for everyone else, so you must not have followed the instructions and advice in the issue you have posted to. |
i followed these steps: What have I done wrong? |
You haven't told us where the process is stopping, or how you know it isn't working, or what error message you are getting. |
This is my own bat file: @echo off |
thank you so much |
Using the last mod described here, and starting manually the te service works. |
Edit: use the Computer Management Console for manipulating the TE service |
Here the one I use, which works when enabling the TE service: ; RDP Wrapper Library configuration [Main] [PatchCodes] [SLInit] [SLPolicy] [6.0.6000.16386] [6.0.6001.18000] [6.0.6001.22286] SingleUserPatch.x64 =1 [6.0.6001.22323] SingleUserPatch.x64 =1 [6.0.6001.22357] SingleUserPatch.x64 =1 [6.0.6001.22801] SingleUserPatch.x64 =1 [6.0.6002.18005] [6.0.6002.19214] [6.0.6002.22515] SingleUserPatch.x64 =1 [6.0.6002.22641] SingleUserPatch.x64 =1 [6.0.6002.22790] SingleUserPatch.x64 =1 [6.0.6002.23521] [6.0.6003.20482] SingleUserPatch.x64 =1 [6.1.7600.16385] [6.1.7600.20621] SingleUserPatch.x64=1 [6.1.7600.20890] [6.1.7600.21316] [6.1.7600.21420] SingleUserPatch.x64=1 [6.1.7601.17514] [6.1.7601.18540] [6.1.7601.18637] [6.1.7601.21650] [6.1.7601.21866] [6.1.7601.22104] [6.1.7601.22213] SingleUserPatch.x64=1 [6.1.7601.22435] SingleUserPatch.x64=1 [6.1.7601.22476] SingleUserPatch.x64=1 [6.1.7601.22750] [6.1.7601.22843] [6.1.7601.23403] [6.1.7601.24234] [6.1.7601.24326] SingleUserPatch.x64=1 [6.1.7601.24402] SingleUserPatch.x64=1 [6.2.8102.0] [6.2.8250.0] [6.2.8400.0] [6.2.9200.16384] [6.2.9200.17048] [6.2.9200.21166] [6.2.9200.22715] SingleUserPatch.x64=1 [6.2.9200.22977] ;
