I suspect stash-box, specifically StashDB will eventually implement performer fields to match Stash's penis attribute fields.
This will pose an issue about what sources of information are preferred, for example:
Performers and studios may report an attribute that is 11"
Fans analyzing content may deduce the actual attribute is 8"
When neither source is available, submitters guestimating sizes (potentially very unreliable)
Which attributes are to be preferred or acceptable? And how should that be documented in edit comments?
This isn't unique with penis size, existing StashDB performer attributes (nationality, birth date, measurements) from primary sources can exist on a fuzzy spectrum between fiction and non-fiction, often conflicting with other primary sources from the performer themselves. I think the mantra has usually been that StashDB should be documenting personas not actual people, which alleviates the issue to a degree. Though I suspect what users may really want is actual info, at least for particular fields such as penis size. Without the software having the capacity to document both things, what will the explicit preferences be in general and for penis attributes?
Just something to start thinking about it, which will also clarify the issue for all performer details in general.
