Observed with @kadams54 -- when the ajax post to update a switch fails from unparseable json, the switch still shows itself as successfully update.
It shouldn't update; possibly alerting the user to the error.

Some further experience with this bug indicates it only happens when you're backing switchboard with session data only; mongodb backing removes it.
