Hello everyone,
I am currently experiencing an issue with integrating my Home Assistant Matter Hub (tobster's version) with Google Home. When I try to scan the QR code for the connection, I get the error message: "Device registration data could not be created."
My setup:
Google TV Streamer 4K acts as the Matter Hub.
Home Assistant is running the latest version and is connected to the Matter Hub by tobster.
The addon works great with Alexa, but it’s giving me trouble with Google Home. Do I perhaps need to set a different port? Currently, the Hub is running on Port 5541, while the Alexa Bridge is running on Port 5540. When I try to manually add the Alexa Bridge using the code, I encounter the same error message.
I’ve already tried scanning the QR code multiple times to establish the connection between Home Assistant and Google Home, but I keep running into the same error. Has anyone experienced something similar or perhaps has a solution to this problem?
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Checked the Home Assistant configuration.
Tried scanning the QR code several times.
Ensured that both Home Assistant and Google Home are up to date.
If anyone has any ideas or solutions, I would greatly appreciate your help!
Best regards
